
Education and experience directly related to the minimum requirements below may be interchangeable on a year-for-year basis.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in human resources, public administration, or business administration; and Five (5) years of professional experience within Human Resources. Two (2) years of this experience must be in the professional human resources area of classification and compensation, payroll administration, or benefits administration. SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR or SPHR preferred.
Provide a wide range of highly responsible and complex human resources support working through the Classification and Compensation or Employment divisions of Central Human Resources. Serve in a senior level capacity; ensure work quality and adherence to established policies and procedures and perform the more technical and complex tasks relative to assigned area of responsibility. Provide a high level of support within assigned area; research, analyze, advise and consult departments on various HR rules, regulations, practices, policies and procedures. Coordinate assigned activities with other divisions, outside agencies and the general public; provide highly responsible and complex staff assistance to higher level management staff.
