City Treasurer
Possession of a bachelor’s degree or higher in finance, business administration, public administration, or a related field. Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in treasury operations.

This position is located in the Treasury Division of the Finance Department within the City of Oklahoma City and is under the direction of the Finance department head. The City Treasurer is primarily responsible for managing the City’s investment program, banking relationships, revenue enforcement program, and overseeing the City’s cashiering system.
Essential Job Functions
- Monitoring and maintaining records and reporting the status of the City’s investment program.
- Researching, analyzing, and evaluating financial and economic data to determine the City’s optimal investment strategy.
- Communicating with individuals inside and outside the City organization and serving on various boards to provide and obtain information and technical assistance related to City and trust investments, banking, and revenues.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
