- Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree (preferred) from an accredited institution in public or business administration or related field
- 7 to 10 years of progressively responsible experience in municipal government, including 5 years of senior management responsibility
- Proven success in personnel direction, project management, business operations, and project implementation
- Or a combination of experience, training, and education that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities
The City of Cody is seeking to fill the position of City Administrator. Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the City of Cody, the City Administrator oversees all City personnel and serves as chief adviser to the Mayor and Council.
- Hiring Range: $135,000 – $170,000 (depending on qualifications)
- Deadline: December 20, 2024 (5:00 PM MST)
Under the board policy guidance of the Governing Body and within the provisions of federal and state laws, the City Administrator: manages all City departments to achieve goals within available resources; plans and organizes workloads and staff assignments; motivates and elevates assigned staff; and reviews progress and directs operational changes as necessary.
